On January 6, 8 graduate students studying international affairs at the Fletcher School of Tufts University paid a visit to the Hiroshima Prefectural Government.

Prior to a courtesy visit to Governor Yuzaki, the staff of the Peace Promotion Project Team delivered a presentation about the Hiroshima for Global Peace Plan.

In the meeting with the students, the Governor elaborated on the necessities of a new security theory replacing nuclear deterrence and increase of involvement of many actors into a platform of peace, the importance of disseminating the humanitarian consequences of the use of nuclear weapons and so forth, and had a discussion with them on each topic.
