Introducing 3 new HOPe Youth Ambassadors for a Nuclear-Free Sustainable Future!
HOPe recognizes the important roles that young people can play in the discussion how we can eliminate nuclear weapons for our sustainable future. Today, we are happy to announce our first HOPe Youth Ambassadors!
Heng Sokkheang
Ms. Heng is 16 years old, originally lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From October, she’s studying in Hyogo, Japan as an exchange student.
She participated via online from Cambodia in the summer Peace Education program hosted by Hiroshima Prefecture.
Manami Yamazaki
Ms Yamazaki is motivated to share her passion for peace through collaborative projects with those who want to do somehting to abolish nuclear weapons.
Her great grandmother is an atomic bomb survivor.
Yuumi Sato
Ms Sato visited Philippine with a Peace Education project of Hiroshima Prefecture in her high school days. Currently, she lives in Tokyo to attend university.
Her grandmother was exposed to the atomic bomb in Hiroshima.
