| Kazakhstan has ratified all conventions relevant to nuclear security and has introduced recommended measures of INFCIRC/225/Rev.5, as well as being involved in multilateral efforts such as preventing illicit transfers and nuclear forensics activities. It completed the removal of all unirradiated HEU in 2020 and announced its efforts to further minimize the use of HEU. | |||
