The half of Hiroshima-ICAN Academy has been passed. On August 5, we visited World Friendship Center. It was founded by Ms. Barbara Reynolds in 1965. We learned her peace activities and present initiatives. In the afternoon, we visited Yanominami Elementary School in Hiroshima City. Teachers lectured us the peace education curriculum implemented in Hiroshima City as well as their own program such as A-Bombed Trees.
