August 7 was the last day of lectures. In the morning, the participants learned about key challenges for governments and civil society. In the session of the key challenges for governments, the lecturer asked the participants how political change usually take place. After learning about examples of climate change, land mines, humanitarian effects of nuclear weapons and so on, they had lively discussion. 

In the afternoon, the participants prepared final presentation for the next day (August 8).
