Since the United Nations Summit has set SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in 2015, organizations inside and outside of Japan have seriously promoted activities for SDGs. To achieve the SDGs by 2030, all countries, whether poor, rich, or middle-income, are expected to work together in partnership, and Hiroshima Prefecture is no exception. However, the recognition of SDGs in Hiroshima Prefecture is not high yet.
This booklet aims to raise awareness and promote SDGs business in Hiroshima Prefecture by introducing local businesses that are making various efforts to achieve SDGs.
We hope that more people inside and outside of Hiroshima Prefecture become interested in the SDGs by taking and reading this second edition of the collection of SDG cases.
