Future Leaders' Program 2019-JulyFuture Leaders’ Program for Global Peace 2019 Report (July 28)

Date: July 28, 2019

Lecture Name: Future Image of International Human Resources

Lecturer: Professor IKEDA Hideo, Hiroshima University

The report written by participants (High school students in Hiroshima) is posted without editing.

At this time, professor Ikeda talked about what we should do and expected to be a global leader.
We have to see the world by our own eyes and have my opinions and tell that by not only Japanese but also with English too. And when I heard what he said, l thought that through this program, I want to learn more about problems we have for nuclear weapons abolition and improve my English to tell my opinions for nuclear weapon.

Professor Hideo Ikeda lectured us about global leaders of the future. He said “it is important for global leaders to have not only good personalities and communication skills but also seeing the world from wide perspective by myself.” So I will show you three important things for global leaders. 1. Telling the experience in revival of Japan to the world 2. Acquiring good understanding and knowledge about happening of now and future in Hiroshima, Japan and the world from gathering and analyzing information 3. Having grace, manners and cooperativeness and being able to see the world with a flexible way of thinking Through this lecture, I thought I have a lot of things to do to be a global leader. So I will do my best from now on.
