Hiroshima Governor’s Letter to the States Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, Hiroshima Prefecture sent the following letter from the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture to the NPT States Parties except Japan*(190 countries) in advance of the first session of the Preparatory Committee of the 11th Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), which will be held in Vienna, Austria from July 31, requesting practical actions to build a peaceful world without nuclear weapons and a future visit to Hiroshima.
*We will separately submit the letter to the Government of Japan.
