What businesspersons can do to promote diversity & inclusion in the post-COVID-19 world
In the post-COVID-19 age, various changes are expected in, for example, the ways we work, how people are divided and isolated, and groups and individuals who are negatively affected by such changes.
This year, the Olympic and Paralympic Games are in Japan, providing athletes with diverse backgrounds with opportunities to play an active role in sports arenas and society in general, and it is hoped that this will start the process of creating a society that includes diverse minority groups.
What kind of leadership are businesspersons expected to demonstrate, what is expected from services provided by businesses, and what is expected from business activities themselves, i.e., improvement in employment and supply chains? We will discuss how we should proactively realize and promote diversity & inclusion in a new society.
