Mexico has played a leading role in promoting the issue on the humanitarian dimensions of nuclear weapons, as well as adopting the TPNW, which it has already ratified. It has engaged in promoting the CTBT’s entry into force. Mexico participates in the IPNDV. It expressed the sense of urgency regarding standstill and deterioration of nuclear disarmament on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the entry into force of the NPT. |
