Along with the other U.S. allies, it advocates the “progressive approach” toward a world without nuclear weapons, through incremental practical measures. Poland participates in the IPNDV. |

Poland has ratified all conventions relevant to nuclear security. It is in the process of revising regulations on the physical protection of nuclear materials and facilities, and of developing a DBT. Poland announced that it is considering hosting an IPPAS follow-up mission in 2021. It has been contributing to multilateral efforts to strengthen nuclear security, e.g. positively participating in ITWG activities. |
