Along with the other U.S. allies, the Netherlands advocates the “progressive approach” toward a world without nuclear weapons, through incremental practical measures. It has not signed the TPNW, but the Netherlands participated in the 1MSP as an observer. It also actively proposed nuclear risk reduction at the NPT RevCon. It is hosting U.S. non-strategic nuclear weapons as part of NATO’s nuclear sharing policy. The Netherlands participated in the IPNDV. |
