HOPe welcomes 3 new HOPe Youth Ambassador for a Nuclear-Free Sustainable Future!

The Hiroshima Organization for Peace Creation (HOPe) called for enthusiastic young people as “Hiroshima Youth Ambassadors for a Nuclear-Free Sustainable Future” who would get actively involved in promoting events and initiatives for peace in Japan and lobbying the international community for the abolition of nuclear weapons.  As a result, we have decided to appoint three people as the first HOPe Youth Ambassadors.

1 Activities of the HOPe Youth Ambassadors

1) Engage in activities to publicize the Hiroshima Initiative and the concrete image of a nuclear-free future that HOPe is aiming for, and share it with the world through social media.

2) Participate in international conferences and campaigner meetings to promote HOPe, and upon return, report the current status of the NPT and TPNW to the general public through social media and public meetings.

3) Make proposals and carry out activities to realize a sustainable future without nuclear weapons.

4) Promote collaboration with the City and Prefecture of Nagasaki and the City of Hiroshima, as well as Global Hibakusha and civil society around the world.
