What We can Do as Tax Accountants (Okazaki Junya Certified Public Tax Accountant Office)
What we can do as tax accountants
Okazaki Junya Certified Public Tax Accountant Office provides accounting and advisory services, business planning, and tax services. Through the website, it showcases SDG initiatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), thereby raising awareness of the SDGs and promoting their efforts. The company also acts as an agent for i Grid Solutions, an electric power supply company, working as an intermediary to support other businesses in replacing their corporate clients’ electricity with eco-friendly and carbon-neutral alternatives, as well as promoting paperless offices by converting documents into data.
In this interview, we mainly asked about the website that showcases the initiatives of various companies.
Highlighting even the smallest organizations and showing them to the world
In the past, there was little recognition of the SDGs, and many people would ask what they are. Today, I feel that many people have heard about them or know about them but don’t know what kind of companies are working on them. In particular, the efforts of small companies and sole proprietors are difficult to highlight and are not well known to the public. Okazaki Junya Certified Public Tax Accountant Office takes advantage of its direct relationships with these kinds of small companies to help communicate their various efforts to the world and ensure that they are not overlooked.
In addition, its website allows companies to revise their articles as many times as they want even after they have been published. If the article is published once and that is the end of it, it is impossible to report on subsequent reviews, accomplishments, new initiatives, etc., so the website allows articles to be revised at any time.
Communication can be a powerful tool
I was impressed that Okazaki Junya Certified Public Tax Accountant Office is using its business as a tax accountant to communicate the SDGs initiatives of small companies to the public and ensuring that they are not overlooked.
I believe that this system, which allows companies to revise and update their articles rather than just publishing them once and being done with them, will help companies to feel more positive about continuing to promote the SDGs.
For companies that have viewed the SDGs as something that only big companies can tackle or think that it is meaningless for them to engage with themselves, I believe that this website will help them understand that the SDGs are directly relevant to them.
Rather than thinking that this has nothing to do with me, I would like to learn about the efforts being made by various companies and try to do what we can to help.
