Visit to the Topography of Terror
On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the program participants visited the Topography of Terror. Once used as the headquarters of the Nazi Gestapo (secret police) from 1933 to 1945, the facility currently serves as a museum showing the history of the Nazis’ rule by violence.
The museum exhibits the history of how Nazi Hitler came to receive support from citizens during World War II and how the discrimination and persecution were conducted by the Nazis against Jews.
Through the museum tour, the participants seemed to have felt the determination of German people to convey the actual history, thereby accepting the history of the Holocaust and preventing the same history from being repeated.
