Hiroshima for Global Peace

Moving Forward with Hiroshima’s Only Building Restoration Business (Techseed Co., Ltd.)

Activities since the company’s founding

Techseed Co., Ltd. is in the business of building restoration, from surveys and assessments of old buildings to renovation and earthquake-resistant construction. In that capacity, it is contributing to the realization of a recycling-oriented society that reduces resource depletion and environmental impact by controlling mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal, which are major issues in the construction industry. In addition, the company aims to create cities where people can carry on living in the future while providing safe, secure, and comfortable living by using architectural medicine to assess building deterioration and seismic resistance and by using reliable construction techniques in response to surveys.

To support comfortable living

In consideration of the environment, Techseed contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions by not using more materials than necessary when constructing buildings. Renovating buildings also helps to reduce the large amounts of CO2 emissions generated by construction sites. By listening to the details of the customer’s lifestyle without compromising even on small things, Techseed provides homes that people can carry on living in. We found out that this reduces wasted resources and supports a sustainable lifestyle for both the environment and the people who live in it. We also realized that this is the secret to long-lasting relationships with customers and is vital for building good partnerships.

Moving forward with Hiroshima’s only building restoration business

We felt that only Techseed, which handles everything from building surveys to repairs, could pursue so many SDG goals in a single project.
We thought that mass consumption of materials was an inevitable part of building construction. However, we learned that with environmentally friendly building restoration businesses of Techseed, it is possible to keep the amount of materials used under control. Aside from the construction industry, there are many other products that are produced and consumed in mass quantities today. We need to think once again about how much the things around us are impacting the environment and to make sure we use the things up once we have them.
